Over the Fire BBQ Supply is the first of its kind in the Phoenix area, focusing on bringing high quality education and high quality tools to produce a result that will wow family and friends. Our primary goal is to encourage our customers to get outside and cook to create a memorable experience for family and friends. We will use the best outdoor cooking equipment, professional outdoor kitchen design services, custom recipes, and video tutorials to ensure that each customer can produce a restaurant quality result in their backyard.

A bit about our owners…
Kelly McCarrel is a native to Phoenix who started his barbecue journey over 10 years ago when he attended his first backyard barbecue class. Four months later, he found himself at a barbecue competition where it became quickly apparent that the barbecue community was different from anything else he had ever experienced. Kelly’s new found passion for barbecue has taken him all over the country to Texas, Illinois, Tennessee, and Florida to be trained by famous pit masters. Kelly has been competing in barbecue competition ever since but has primarily focused on sharing his experiences and inspiring others to get out and cook.
Kris Wood is also a native to the Phoenix area who has always had a passion for cooking, only recently a passion for outdoor cooking and specifically barbecue. Over the past year, learning barbecue from Kelly has allowed Kris to get out and cook for his family and friends which has created life long memories. Kris recognized an opportunity in the Phoenix area for growing the barbecue culture through education with a hands on learning approach. Kris realized that there are many cooking enthusiasts who struggle to produce a quality product worth sharing with family and friends
