Thanksgiving Stuffing Bombs
Bacon-Wrapped Stuffing Bombs
Ingredients
-
4–5 cups prepared stuffing (cooled so it holds shape)
-
1 lb thin-cut bacon
-
1 can cranberry sauce
-
Hot sauce of your choice (Chef Ben loves habanero sauces)
Instructions
1. Preheat
Preheat your grill or smoker to 300°F.
2. Form the Stuffing Bombs
-
Scoop 2–3 tablespoons of stuffing.
-
Press firmly into a tight ball so it holds its shape.
3. Wrap with Bacon
-
Cut bacon slices in half.
-
Wrap each stuffing ball with 1–2 pieces of bacon, overlapping slightly.
-
Secure with a toothpick if needed.
4. Cook
-
Place the bacon-wrapped stuffing bombs on a wire rack or directly on the grill grate.
-
Cook for 30–40 minutes, or until the bacon is rendered and beginning to crisp.
5. Make the Glaze (Optional but awesome)
-
In a bowl, combine cranberry sauce and hot sauce to taste.
-
Mix until smooth and transfer to a squeeze bottle (optional).
During the last 5–10 minutes of cooking, brush or squeeze the cranberry-hot sauce glaze over the stuffing bombs to let it caramelize onto the bacon.
6. Serve
Let rest for a few minutes, then serve hot.
Pairs perfectly with gravy, extra cranberry sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.
